A color mutation of the mandarin fish: its whole body is golden, but its markings remain. Golden mandarin fish in the Han River system are a protected Natural Monument.
Catching one for real
🌿 Protected species. In the game it is released the moment you catch it and only goes in your log. In real life it can't be caught without a permit, and if one bites by accident you must let it go at once.
As a Natural Monument, it must not be caught or taken. If one strikes your lure while fishing for mandarin fish, keep it in the water as much as possible and release it right away.
