Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 27, 2026
Dot Fishing (the "site") values your privacy. This policy explains how the site handles information.
1. Information we collect
The site has no sign-up and does not directly collect or store personal information such as your name or contact details on any server.
2. Browser storage
Your game progress (money, gear, fish log, achievements, sound and alert settings) is stored only in your browser's local storage (localStorage). It is never sent to the site operator, and it is deleted when you clear the site's data in your browser.
3. Browser notifications
If you turn on bite alerts, the site uses your browser's notification feature. Notifications are created on your device only; the site does not send or store any information on a server for them. You can revoke notification permission in your browser settings at any time.
4. Advertising and cookies
The site uses Google AdSense, an advertising service provided by Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- Learn how Google uses data from ads at Google's advertising policy page.
You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you refuse cookies, some ads may be shown as general rather than personalized ads.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for visit statistics. It doesn't use cookies; it only counts pages visited, referrers, browser types and countries in aggregate, in a form that can't identify you.
5. Sharing with third parties
The site does not share your personal information with third parties. Advertising cookies described in section 4 are handled by Google and other ad vendors under their own policies.
6. Children's privacy
The site does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.
