About this fish
A shark whose head spreads out sideways like a hammer, with an eye at each end so it can scan a wide area. It travels in schools through warm seas. Its numbers have fallen sharply worldwide, and Korea lists it as a protected marine species.
Catching one for real
🌿 Protected species. In the game it is released the moment you catch it and only goes in your log. In real life it can't be caught without a permit, and if one bites by accident you must let it go at once.
It's protected and must not be caught. It sometimes takes big baits on boat trips. Don't haul it aboard; cut the leader or remove the hook in the water and let it go. Its teeth are sharp, so keep your hands away from its mouth.
